Tri-Tech Restoration & Construction Co. Inc. ("Tri-Tech," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and related services (the "Site"), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to information collected on the Site and does not govern information you provide offline or under a separate signed service agreement.
We are located at 3301 N San Fernando Blvd, Burbank, CA 91504. If you have questions, contact us using the details in the "Contact Us" section below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact and service requests. When you submit our contact or service-request forms, we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, preferred contact method, the type of customer you are (e.g., homeowner, business owner, insurance adjuster), and the details of your message.
- Member accounts. If you create a community account, we collect your username, email address, display name, an optional profile photo, an optional bio, and a securely hashed password.
- Social sign-in. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique account identifier from that provider, as permitted by your settings with them. We do not receive your Google or Facebook password.
- Community forum content. Public topics and replies you post, and any "private" (Tri-Tech-only) messages you send through the forum, including their content and the account that posted them.
- Marketing preferences. If you opt in, your consent to receive email and/or text-message communications.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and dates/times of access, recorded in server logs.
- Cookies and analytics. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms (session and security tokens), and analytics tools such as Google Analytics that use cookies and similar technologies to help us understand how the Site is used. See "Cookies and Tracking" below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your inquiries, provide estimates, and deliver restoration and construction services.
- Create and manage your account and enable the community forum, including routing private messages to our team.
- With your consent, send you marketing emails and/or text messages about our services, promotions, and updates.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including analytics and fraud/abuse prevention.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
3. Marketing Emails and Text Messages
We send marketing email or SMS/text messages only to people who opt in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help; you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email. Opting out of marketing does not stop non-marketing messages related to a service you have requested (for example, appointment or job updates). We do not share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We disclose information only:
- To service providers who perform functions on our behalf (for example, website hosting, email/SMS delivery, and analytics) under obligations to protect the information.
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Tri-Tech, our customers, or the public.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- With your direction or consent.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Essential cookies are required for sign-in and form security and cannot be turned off through the Site. Analytics cookies help us measure and improve the Site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings, though some features may not work without them.
"Do Not Track." Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT, and the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We describe the tracking we use in this Policy so you can make informed choices.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), gives you the following rights:
- Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share your personal information.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out under the CCPA.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected: identifiers (such as name, email, phone number, IP address, and account identifiers); customer records (such as ZIP code and phone number); commercial information (services you inquire about); internet or network activity (such as usage and cookie data); approximate geographic information (such as ZIP code); and other information you choose to provide in messages or forum posts.
How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by email to info@tritechrestoration.com or by calling 818.565.3900. We will verify your request using information associated with your account or prior contact with us. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
"Shine the Light." California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to provide services you request, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account and forum content remain until you or we delete the account.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including hashing account passwords and using encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or integrate third-party services (such as Google and Facebook sign-in and Google Analytics). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
